"Six Mince Pies" - Lower School Performance
What performances our Year 3 and 4 children put on last week. The children were real stars. The soloists, choir and the lower school children really excelled themselves. The bravery of Holly Knott and the compassion shown by her fellow performers will be remembered for a long time to come. The two performances rank high on our list of past presentations.
Apologies to George Waight and Daniel Clowes (dancers), whose names were left off the programme.
We raised £127.00 for Barnardos and £256.25 from the raffle and refreshments organised by the "Friends". Thanks for giving so generously. Back to top
Upper School Carol Service
Last night's singing was super and the children well deserved the applause that was given. Thanks must go to Reverend John O'Brien, who allowed himself to be "imported" to Innsworth. His address was very up-to-date and added to what was already a warm and special evening.Well done to all the soloists and musicians who contributed to the evening so delightfully.
A special mention: "The Shining Star" written by Rachel O'Grady and Lizzie Walker came about as a result of a carol competition set up by Miss Schofield. I think you will agree that they did really well. Who knows, in future years this song could become one of the Christmas favourites! Well done, girls. Back to top
BBC Cameras
The BBC came in last Friday (with two hours notice!) and filmed both Mrs Jones' English Group at work and the whole school singing in the hall. There is a possibility that it will be shown on BBC Points West this evening between 6.30 - 7.00 p.m. Fingers crossed! However, they will forward a copy of the video. This will be available for parents to borrow in the New Year. Back to top"Decorate a Coathanger" Technology Morning

Daylight Theatre - "The Moriarty Mystery"
Thanks to the "Friends" we were able to enjoy another professional performance by the Daylight Theatre."It was extraordinary because the two actors made you think there were at least eight!" (quote from Year 4).
If you have sent in £1 for a booklet, further stocks will be received in the new term. Back to top
Gloscat Students
We had a treat last week when the Gloscat students came to perform "The Reluctant Hero".Clever links with outside influences made this a very "watchable" production. (A quote from Class 7). Back to top
Lost Property
If your child has lost an item of clothing, please come into the school before 4.00 p.m. tomorrow. We do have a huge "mound" of unnamed school jumpers filling up the lost property baskets. These will be displayed in the hall for your viewing.Recently, two pairs of trainers size 4 have gone missing. Please could you check your child's P.E. bag. Also a pair of size 2 football boots, last seen in a Tesco's bag, have been misplaced. This is as a result of a child taking home the wrong boots in the first place. We have also lent out two school recorders, which have not been returned. Please could you keep your eyes peeled again for these items. Back to top
Students in School
During the spring term we will have two third year students in school. Both will be in Year 5 classes. Back to topSPLAAT Winners - Laing Homes Child Safety Programme
