Lower School Production 'Michaelmas Mouse'
What a treat we had from the Lower School. The singing was wonderful and the enthusiasm just radiated from the whole of the Lower school. The acting was superb with every word being clearly spoken. The children really did deserve the applause that they received. Thanks must be given to everyone involved in making the production possible, the children, the parents, 'Friends' and staff.
Although a production like this takes so much time the gains from it are immeasurable. Performing in front of an audience boosts everyone's self esteem and confidence and this then impacts on other aspects of the children's lives. Back to top
Upper School Production 'Captain Christmas'
Our second treat of the Christmas season was 'Captain Christmas' from the Upper School children. Once again another magnificient performance was given as a result of great effort from all involved. Well done Upper School, you did us proud. Back to top

Friends - Christmas Raffle prizes
Thank you for sending in such super prizes for the raffle. Several hundred pounds was raised through the raffle and this has now made it possible to purchase the largest Interactive White Board available instead of one of the smaller ones.

Over the Christmas period the 'Friends' raised approximately £2000 and after paying for the children's Christmas Parties and other expenses, a profit of £1,400 remained. Well done to all the Committee! Back to top
Technology - Diorama
The whole school had a super morning on Wednesday with everyone taking part in the diorama competition. The team have now entered an intermediate football knockout competition, which will be taking place late January / early February. This is the first time we have entered this competition and we are hoping to do well.
League matches: The last team played was Kingsholm and the score was 3 all involving the 'A' team. We also played a 'B' team for the first time in the league and we won 2:1. Well done to all our football squad.
Finally, the next event on the horizon for football will be the indoor 5-a-side event, which is usually held at Oxstalls Secondary School in late January. Back to top
