How the Leopard got his Spots
Once upon a time there was an old leopard and he was completely yellow. One day he was asleep in a tree. He was bored of the plainness of his disgraceful coat - he wanted to be like Zees the Zebra! He was scorching hot so he went to get some water but on the way back the gorilla pushed him into the murky lagoon. He said, "Why did you push me in the murky lagoon?" The water would not come off and then he was proud of his spotty coat.

There was a yellow leopard called Liam who loved to play in fresh water. He lived all on his own. One day he went to sleep in a tree and when he woke up he had chicken pox. He had an appointment with the doctor but he didn't go and his spots remained. He was so ill he didn't get better for weeks. When he was better he still had spots left. He was happy that his spots stayed on him. He thought that he was so lovely and elegant that he always went to town and had fun.
That's how the leopard got its spots.

HOW THE LEOPARD GOT ITS SPOTS
Once there was a Diamond-Black Panther and a Golden Leopard and they were having an argument over which of their coats was best. After two days of arguing the Panther won. The Leopard was jealous so he went to the lazy Monkey and said, "Can you paint me black like the Panther?" But because the Monkey was lazy he only painted spots. When the Panther saw the Leopard's spots he became jealous and has been ever since.
